Four × $1,000 Awards
The current plan is to award four separate $1,000 scholarships. Final funding, criteria, committee structure and award process will be announced before applications open.
Scholarships
Basketball can open
more than one door.
The inaugural Chi City Showcase is targeting four $1,000 scholarship awards, funded through designated sponsorship support and finalized under published eligibility and selection criteria.
Named Scholarship Support
Partners may designate funds specifically for scholarships and receive appropriate recognition around the award, subject to final program rules and agreement terms.
Selection Framework
Transparent criteria before awards are made.
Before applications open, Chi City will publish clear eligibility, deadlines, required materials, conflict-of-interest standards and the composition/process of the selection committee.
Student-Athlete Focus
Applicants will be evaluated using criteria that go beyond a single game or highlight clip.
Independent Review
A committee-based process is planned so awards are not decided by one person alone.
Restricted Funds
Money accepted specifically for scholarships will be tracked separately from general event operating support.
